Spring on quarantine
The series "Spring in Quarantine" shows an allegorically of plants that have been dug out of their habitual environment and left in quarantine awaiting transplantation. This is a story about simple plants, many of them would never find themselves in the same situation as greenhouse roses or delicate violets, which they will definitely not forget to transplant back after quarantine. The more valuable the plant, the more likely it will be in the same or better place after the end of isolation. Who will transplant nettles that you can't even pick up with your hands? Anyone who knows that this is not just an ordinary weed, but also a burning one.

Stinging nettle is one of the most famous and controversial plants in Russian culture. She loves and hates at the same time. A strong weed that is very difficult to prevent from growing - it is not afraid of drought, rain or bad soil. It grows everywhere, strangles all other plants with its powerful root system and feels great. It is loved by those who know about its benefits and outstanding properties for medicine, the textile industry and food.
This plant is one of the most famous images associated with burning love, breaking witchcraft, magical power and at the same time an evil and stinging weed. "With others it is common to sit in nettles", "Beautiful on the face, and the tongue is nettles."

The best time to harvest this amazing herb is from June 20 to July 20, when it is at its greatest strength. So now is the time!)

The painting "Horseradish" is a kind of dedication to people who survived the quarantine of the spring of 2020, people who managed to oppose their self-organization to the circumstances of temporary timelessness and the destructive influence of self-isolation.

To all those who tried to find something favorable for themselves in an unfavorable situation, who went through a new life experience with self-irony and did not succumb to despondency and the destructive force of apathy. We will remember this spring for a long time, and the world will never be the same again.
